ABSTRACT

The present study was aimed at investigating “cold recycled” mixtures, made with non-conventional aggregates, cement and foamed bitumen. Leaching and physical-mechanical testing was performed on the aggregates in order to evaluate their technical suitability in foamed mixtures for road pavements. Mixtures of this type are typically used in road foundation layers and, from the technological point of view, can be slotted within the ambits of stabilization.
