However, no specific drug has yet been available for altering the natural history of arsenicosis (Guha Mazumder, 2000). Limited information is available regarding the long-term effect of drinking arsenic safe water. The current study was therefore undertaken to assess the effect of drinking arsenic safe water (<50 μg L−1) on disease manifestation of arsenicosis in Nadia.
