ABSTRACT

If done well, the opportunity analysis is the strategy the organization uses to assess the potential for a change or enhancement that has the potential to a‹ect an entire generation of revenue positively. Opportunities can vary from a small change within a current business model that leads to greater e¢ciency or reduced costs, to the launch of a new business or product line that will a‹ect the organization in profound ways. Either way, including something in between, undergoing an opportunity analysis, helps provide an understanding of what e‹ects, positive and negative, are likely to take place if a particular approach is implemented.
