ABSTRACT
If you happen to have physical access to a machine, these tools can provide you with signicant information about what is on the system. When you use tools, don’t think about just what you see in the most high-tech countries as far as operating systems. In various parts of the world, even now, you come across a wide spectrum of operating systems. Taking Microsoft Windows as an example, you could run into anything from a solid MS-DOS operating system (no Windows) all the way up to Windows 8 or more. So here is a listing of tools I’m still using both here in the States and in other countries.
