Care should be taken with proposal presentations, keeping in mind that in science, if one is to make an impact, you must persuade your colleagues of it. Presentations need to be understandable to the audience without relying on their having read the written proposal. To achieve this goal, slides should be clear and readable with figures, images, and tables playing a major role.
