ABSTRACT
Oneofthereasonsforthestudyofroomacousticsistondtoolstopredict thesoundtransmissionpropertiessufcientlywellfromtheviewpointof hearing,sothatroomscanbedesignedthathaveoptimumpropertiesfor the transmission and enjoyment of speech and music. With proper tools, problemsandfaultsinalreadyexistingroomscanthenalsobepinpointed and possibly corrected.
