ABSTRACT
This chapter describes a numerical method for solving the problem of ligh diffraction by periodic diffractive micro-and nanostructures. The method is used to calculate and study the diffraction structures for a number of modern trends in nanophotonics, including plasmonics, metamaterials, nanometrology.
