ABSTRACT
Following the description of the electrical and emissive characteristics of the LEDs in the preceding chapters, let us now apply this knowledge and concentrate our attention on how the LEDs are to be used in practice, and the electrical driving sources-DC and AC-for the LEDs (Inneon 2013). ese sources along with the associated circuitry provide the input power, thus serving as the power supplies, for operating the LEDs in the desired manner to obtain light output demanded by the application at hand. Let us embark on DC sources.
