ABSTRACT
The denition of simulation optimization is difcult to present because of the various uses, aspects, and treatments for the concept. Research studies in the existing literature have not distinguished among the various aspects of such optimization methods, although the various studies in the literature reveal the aspects. One of these aspects is the application of the various optimization techniques on the various simulation parameters. Another aspect is to use simulation to optimize a system.
