ABSTRACT
A simulation model can be deterministic or stochastic in nature. In a deterministic simulation model, the variables (both input and output variables) are not random variables, whereas in a stochastic simulation model, one or more variables are stochastic in nature. Monte Carlo simulation is basically a stochastic simulation method and a sampling technique in which random sampling is basically used.
