ABSTRACT

Women present to their GPs with all sorts of complaints, and a great many of these relate to symptoms they feel, or

concerns they have, regarding their reproductive organs. This chapter covers the main symptoms that women present

with, and explains how a GP should go about dealing with them. You may find that such work feels very different from

dealing with the same problems in hospital; you will be looking at the medical problem in a much wider context and

there are a great many more uncertainties to be managed.
