ABSTRACT
Interest in enterprise processes and related workflow design engineering has risen since the early 1990s (van der Aalst and van Hee, 2014). Research in this area has resulted in the creation of a variety of new scientific and engineering methods and techniques. These methods and techniques provide opportunities for business and industry to gain a competitive edge by designing, redesigning, and managing their workflows.
