ABSTRACT

The optical and electrical characteristics of nanosized silicon are determined not only by the size of the particles, but also the composition and structure of their surfaces (Hadj Zoubir et al, 1995; Jia et al, 1997; Kononov et al, 2005; Rybaltovsky, etc. In 2006). As shown in (Delerue et al, 1999; Prusry et al, 2005; Meier et al, 2006), changing the particle size of nc-Si or chemically modifying the structure of their surface layer can be used to control the characteristics of media containing these particles.
