ABSTRACT
Earlier I referred to GETFIL and TIMER, two Fortran subroutines that have wide utility and merit careful study but are too complicated to discuss thoroughly in the places where they are first mentioned. This chapter presents those routines in detail, along with several new routines that they invoke.
