ABSTRACT
It is rather common to rent an apartment or a house in large cities in Europe. In Munich, Germany, for example, the majority of households live in rented quarters. Munich is the third largest city in Germany, located in the southern part of Bavaria, close to the Alps. It is only natural that an important question for a tenant is whether the rent he is paying is comparable to similar properties in the area.
