ABSTRACT
In this chapter you will learn to compute numerical solutions to partial differential equations. There are several classes of differential equations: the parabolic, elliptic, and hyperbolic equations. We already saw the approach shown in this chapter in Chapter 5 on iterative methods. Now we are going to extend the method by transforming the PDE system into a system of ODEs.
