ABSTRACT
Primary liver cancer is one of the most common and deadly cancers worldwide. Globally, it represents the fth most common cancer and the third most common cause of cancer death, behind only lung cancer and stomach cancer (Parkin, 2001; El-Serag and Rudolph, 2007; Gomaa et al., 2008; World Health Organization, 2010a).
