This section mainly refers to legislation in England and Wales (www.legislation.gov.uk). Those outside this jurisdiction should acquaint themselves with the relevant laws relating to drugs and drug use. Drugs (both prescribed and non-prescribed) are subject to certain legal controls. Import and export of drugs controlled under the Acts are within the jurisdiction of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.
