ABSTRACT
So far we have talked about the motion of objects or bodies, that is, velocity and acceleration, without any consideration as to what is the cause of this
motion. Accelerations of bodies arise due to the application of forces, specifically, unbalanced forces. The magnitude of the acceleration is proportional to the magnitude of the unbalanced force. The direction of the acceleration is in the same direction as the unbalanced force.
