ABSTRACT

Although it has promising prospects, the mobile search market is still in its infancy and has not met the expectations forecasted some years ago. Its evolution remains difficult to predict, and its impact is difficult to quantify. is is due to an incomplete understanding of the factors necessary for a successful deployment, generally presented as an extended list of drivers and threats. Because there is hardly quantifiable data on the importance of each of these factors, it is not possible to properly discriminate the barriers lying ahead.
