ABSTRACT

So you show up on the other side of the world for your new gig. You arrive at a massive waterfront estate with a huge yacht docked out back. There is a heliport in the distance with multiple choppers and what looks like a small village at the edge of the compound. You know what your task is-you are the chef-but to whom do you report? What is your rank and place in this sea of people? Where do you get work-related monetary instruments? How about your personal bedding and toiletries? Who is your liaison to the owner? Who works for you? Who maintains your staff car, and who sets the rules for property? Will this all change when you leave on the yacht or fly off to another of the boss’s properties?
