ABSTRACT
This is how Elisabeth Baumann, the first eurythmy teacher at the newly established Wal dorf School in Stuttgart, described the historic starting point that led to the development of eurythmy therapy. R. Steiner’s eurythmy course for physicians and eurythmists was given at a medical conference for anthroposophic medicine in 1921. Paediatrics and edu cation had provided the occasion for this.
