ABSTRACT

In the last chapter we discussed the topic of visual strategy. We described a series of visual tools that work in combination to display the entire competitive landscape. These tools communicated their content using visuals and graphics and ultimately provided the visual strategy map. The strategy icon provided four key parameters of strategy for the identification of customer value. In this chapter, we will discuss strategy in more detail based on a qualitative point of view rather than extreme number crunching exercises as in traditional strategic planning processes.
