ABSTRACT

It’s clear that to institute a major change in strategy or organizational culture, the company’s senior management must be on board. In a JIT* context, where all the employees’ work habits need to change, the bar is set even higher. What’s needed is unconditional commitment on the part of senior management because while the result is well worth the effort, the process can be arduous. And I can’t insist strongly enough on the importance of the process.
