ABSTRACT

I clearly remember the somewhat extraordinary circumstances through which I ended up at Genfoot. A recruiter specializing in senior management headhunting, whom I’d known for a few years, calls me to talk about the company. He knows my professional experience is a good match for his client’s needs, and that the offer might well interest me. The senior management includes the president (son of the founder), his right hand and executive vice president, as well as his three sons in their thirties-vice presidents of finance, sales, and overseas operations. They’re looking to fill the position of vice president of manufacturing for their injection plant. Doubtless, my dozen years’ experience in the field of molds and plastics molding is of great interest to them.
