ABSTRACT
Profiling is the art and science of assessing a comprehensive amount of information about a person’s personality. It is used in law enforcement, in business, by reporters, and in other fields. A personal “comprehensive profile” identifies how a person prefers to communicate, perform, and make decisions. Profiling may involve personality profiling, geographical profiling (of crime patterns), and criminal investigative analysis (of crime scenes and crime artifacts).
