ABSTRACT
Courses in logic have been offered ever since the first universities came into existence 800 to 900 years ago. Logic is the “critical study of reasoning with both theoretical interest and practical utility” (Baker, 1974, p. 1). Mastery of the principles of logical reasoning helps us become more effective in recognizing and avoiding mistakes in reasoning. The objective is clearer and correct thinking processes and results.
