ABSTRACT

Thermolysis of this compound at 260°C gives β-ZnS accompanied by evolution of Me2S (Osakada and Yamamoto 1987, 1991).

[MeZnSPrn]x or C4H10SZn, methylzinc n-propyl sulfide. This compound was precipitated when n-propylthiol in hexane was added to dimethylzinc (also in hexane) at −80°C and the mixture allowed warming to room temperature (Coates and Ridley 1965).
