ABSTRACT
This chapter provides concluding remarks on the lessons learned in security practices and the future of transnational security. It does this by first examining the structural issues that trigger many transnational security threats. It then considers environmental issues; notably, climate change. Finally, it explores “new” transnational security threats. Special attention is paid to the role of interconnectivity in transnational security.
