ABSTRACT

Most other books just tell you what each function on the Brush palette does, but I find it more useful to know how it will be used by the user-by the painters and the nonpainters. You and I both know that it is a necessary evil to have to do an overview in a book like this. Nonetheless, if the idea of spending an entire chapter going through each brush’s options makes your eyes glaze and sends you into a coma, skip over to the Custom Brushes section to create a couple of custom brushes and see some of the functionality in action. Then, watch yourself skip back to this point to read through the other options. You can’t say I didn’t tell you so.
