ABSTRACT

Human resources must administer the wage and salary process and issue human resource policies, but they have to take care of many other functions as well. When a company is growing, new employees are hired. They come from different fields and different company cultures and they cannot be expected to know how the company operates. Young people, whether college graduates or not, may have no idea of what is expected of them, and may not have ever received training in some of the disciplines emphasized by company culture.
