ABSTRACT
This chapter puts together many aspects of virus detection and the use of IVDS that demonstrate this technology. The physical basis of the invention that makes this work will be discussed. Two important virus features enable this technology (1) viruses have different sizes, and (2) they have different physical properties that set them aside from other nanoparticles. These two distinct attributes will be discussed.
