ABSTRACT
Preop The patient is assessed using a standard angiogram or a high-quality magnetic reso
nance angiogram to delineate the level of the infrarenal aorta and rule out a potential aneurysm and also to delineate the distal targets, typically the common femoral artery at its bifurcation. The patient is treated preoperatively with intravenous antibiotics.
