ABSTRACT
In this chapter we inquire further into the symmetry groups Sn. In the process we gain further insight into the importance and significance of normal subgroups.
For obvious reasons, we call a cycle of length 2 a transposition. We now show that any permutation can be factored as a product of transpositions.
