ABSTRACT
The systematic analysis of a product or service in its planning, design, and production stages to ensure that its potential and logical failures are relatively uneventful; that is, the root causes behind mistakes are found and fixed so as to prevent recurrence before the product or service is ever used by a patient or customer. The object of FMEA is to foresee and predict the frequency and severity of potential failure.
