ABSTRACT

A type of management document and report printed on large format "A3" (Europe and Asia) or tabloid (the Americas) paper and used for planning, problem solving, and communication. In healthcare, A3 can also mean ensuring that clinicians and support staff hold each other accountable to provide access and appropriate care for their patients. For more on several variants of A3 reports, see A3i, A3P, A3T (with illustration: See also Storyboard), A3SR, and A3X (with illustration).
