ABSTRACT

The comparative analysis of the basic known gas-cleaning installations of impact-sluggish act shows that many builds work in a narrow range of change of speed of gas in contact channels and are used in industrial production predominantly for clearing of gases of a disperse dust in systems of an aspiration of auxiliaries. Known apparatuses are rather sensitive to change of gas loading on the contact channel and to liquid level, insignificant output disturbance of these parameters from optimum values lead to a swing of levels of a liquid at contact channels, to unstabilize operating mode and decrease in efficiency of a dust separation. Because of low speeds of gas in contact channels such devices have the big gabarits (Uzhov, 1981; and Valdberg, 1981). These deficiencies, and also weak level of scrutiny of processes proceeding in apparatuses, absence of reliable methods of their calculation complicate working out of new rational builds of wet-type collectors of the given type and their wide implementation in manufacture. In this connection has ripened necessity of more detailed theoretical and experimental studying of scrubbers of impact-sluggish act for the purpose of use of the most effective and economic builds in systems of clearing of industrial gases.
