Almost all of the writers on facilitation would agree that the following attributes need to be possessed by facilitators.
Personal skills and characteristics of an excellent facilitator include:
◾ Confidence Must be able to motivate and instill confidence in the group by appear-
ing knowledgeable, purposeful, and in control, therefore, minimizing any group insecurities or fears.
