Some of the projects presented in this chapter can be done in pairs, with both partners working together with either a research assistant and their supervisor or a unit coordinator. All laboratory work should be supervised by an experienced sta member, and the students undertaking the nano projects should be made aware of all the safety procedures and any potential risks or hazards that might be associated with their experimental work

prior to the commencement of their projects. e students should also be supplied with all Materials Safety Data Sheets of the chemicals they will be using for their projects.
