ABSTRACT
The organizations and religious fanatics behind kidnapping incidents vary widely throughout the world, but for economic kidnapping to run as a money-generating process, it must operate through organized networks. These networks enable the group to operate over long distances, ease communication, and offer the stability that renders the breaking up of such groups difficult.
