ABSTRACT
Two concentric shedding tappets for a 7/1 construction, similar in all respects except their size are shown in Figure 8.1. In view of a repeat size of eight picks, the shaft carrying the shedding tappet, namely the counter shaft, rotates once for every eight rotations of the crankshaft. The resultant distribution of crankshaft and counter shaft displacements for the entire repeat is listed in Table 8.1.
