ABSTRACT
We believe that the discussion that follows presents suf–cient information about nuclear explosive devices that the nuclear forensic analyst can bene–t from it. For obvious reasons, this is asensitive subject. The reader is referred to Glasstone [1] for agood, comprehensive discussion of the performance of nuclear explosives. Further, if a suitable US security clearance is held, references [2,3] are quite good.
