ABSTRACT

Project management is a process for planning and implementing a complex, temporary, and unique task. Projects are often the mechanism for implementing organizational changes, improving processes, and developing new products. Projects have the potential for significant impact across the organization and often require crossfunctional collaboration.1 It is crucial to define the scope of the project and the necessary outcomes or deliverables. Project managers with their teams develop a plan that includes start and end dates, resources including personnel and funds available, and the proposed actions needed to complete the project.
