ABSTRACT
The team studying the relocation of the paint system had concluded that it would only cost a small percentage more to relocate it, but that the benefits would far outweigh the costs. They created a 3D model of the new layout and demonstrated that it was reasonable to expect a day to a day and a half reduction in total product throughput time.
