ABSTRACT

Northern European Plains and Steppes in the east are among the most prosperous agricultural regions of the world. The Agricultural prairies of this region support high-intensity cropping on fertile Chernozems. These prairies generate several different cereals, legumes, oilseeds, fiber crops and vine yards. Kusters (2000) states that prairies of Europe have offered one of the most stable agricultural belts for human kind to establish, survive, and perpetuate.
