ABSTRACT
Introduction Pregnancy rate after transfer, pregnancy loss rate, and live foal rate are key statistics used to evaluate the success of an embryo transfer program. Pregnancy data are difficult to compare between different publications, embryo transfer centers and years because of differences in how results are reported, as some programs report any pregnancy achieved in a recipient mare while other programs report day 16 or 25 or 35 pregnancy rates or only live foal rate.
