ABSTRACT
Introduction In order to maximize the success of an equine embryo transfer program it is essential to know the factors that affect pregnancy rates. Factors affecting transfer success include embryo quality, age and reproductive status of the donor mare, technician and method of transfer, recipient quality, synchrony of the recipient and donor, season, and other factors.
