ABSTRACT
Flock management varies greatly worldwide and it is outwith the scope of this book to detail all production systems. This chapter describes typical semi-intensive ock management in the United Kingdom (UK) where the target is the seasonal production of two 40 kg lambs of good conformation by 4-8 months per ewe, achieved largely from pasture (Fig. 2.1).
