Clinical examination of the female reproductive system in sheep can be divided into ve stages of the reproductive cycle:
1. Failure to become pregnant during a restricted breeding period.
2. Embryonic loss/abortion. 3. Vaginal/uterine prolapses. 4. Dystocia. 5. Metritis.
