Where Is My Personal Buffer?—Case As the purchasing manager of All-M, it is my duty to look for the availability and quality of all the materials we buy from vendors. I am also asked to do it at a minimum cost, which constantly puts me in a conflict. Whatever I do, I have to explain my decisions. At any given time, there is either too much or too little inventory, or it is too cheap or too expensive. Dealing with that conflict is the story of my life.
